Some local cruises use Guanabara Bay or the coast, but many listings are road day trips to Búzios or Arraial do Cabo with a boat ride there. Read the departure point before booking.
They are not Rio neighbourhoods. They require long road transfers, and Ilha Grande also needs a boat connection. Treat them as full-day trips, not quick beach stops.
